As you are aware, the school is implementing a series of precautionary measures in line with the recommendations from Public Health England and the Local Authority in response to the Government's COVID 19 action plan:

 

We would like to inform you what we have put in place:

• Collapsing assemblies to reduce the number of children in a confined space and in close proximity
• By the end of the day, there will be anti-bacterial hand gel dispensers installed in the reception area for visitors and staff to use on entry into school and also leaving school.  
• We have ordered extra tissues for all classrooms
• Fixtures and fittings are cleaned thoroughly, including additional cleaning of touch points eg door handles
• Children are sent to wash their hands regularly and before each time that they eat

We do not wish to alarm parents/carers but wanted to assure you that every effort is being made to ensure your children are safe in school.
