KS1 and KS2 Standard Attainment Tests (SATS) and Tasks

At the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, children take SATS tests (Year 2 and Y6). Children in Years 3, 4 and 5 will be assessed regularly in Literacy and Numeracy to find out how much progress they have made and identify future areas for development.

  • At least 65% of pupils meet the expected standard in English reading, English writing and mathematics, or
  • The school achieves sufficient progress scores in all three subjects: at least -5 in English reading, -5 in mathematics and -7 in English writing
